Police arrested six persons from Rautahat with fake Nepali currency and illegal weapons while raiding at Rajaram Shah's house at Maulapur-7 on the night of November 11. Among the arrested are Rajaram Shah, Dhiraj Jaisawal, Ananda Kushawa, Pratima Devi Kushawa, Amrtia Kumari, and Brij Kishor Mukhiya.
Police confiscated 87 nos. of fake Nepali thousand rupees note, 1 no. of pistol, and two motorcycle with numbers Na 33 Pa 2451, and Na 3 Pa 1689. Police had to fire two rounds of warning shots as the locals tried to obstruct the raid by pelting stones on the police. Six police personnel including 2 temporary police deployed from Area Police Office-Maulapur were injured, as per the police sources.
