The Deputy Polling Officer  and a Nepalese army personnel were injured during a clash between supporters of rulling alliance candidate Karchen Lama and independent candidate Mangal Bahadur Shahi in Sarkegad rural municipality-3 based Devkota Primary school Unapani polling site. The Deputy polling officer sustained injury on his head in the incident. Police fired 17 rounds of warning  shots to take the situation into control. Voting remained halted since 9:00 am at the polling site due to the clash. The clash ensued following a dispute over assisting voter with physical disability.
