35-year-old Dabani Devi Sarbariya of Jahada rural municipality-1 Bhutaha in Morang has been accused of murdering her 42-year-old husband Santosh Sarbariya on November 26 during a domestic dispute. According to the police, the accused charged the victim on his head and neck with a sharp weapon as a result of which the victim sustained serious injuries. He later died while undergoing medical treatment. 

Police further added that while investigating the incident, Dani Devi confessed that she murdered his husband because he used to assault her daily while under the influence of alcohol. Police have started investigation into the incident by remanding the accused into custody on orders of the court.
