Police arrested Dipak Bista, a 25-year-old youth on the charge of murdering Narsingh Bista a 40-year-old man of Byas rural municipality-4 in Darchula on November 19. According to the police, Narsingh left his home to go for voting on November 18 but went contactless till November 19 evening. He was later found dead on November 20 in a local Godar river stuck in a stone. According to police, Dipak confessed to murdering the victim on November 19 by hitting him with a stone during a dispute and disposing of the body in the river after drinking alcohol together in the place known as Dob.
