Pralhadchand Ghimire a journalist from Pokhara was assaulted by the local toll development committee of the Thulakhet area of Aandhikhola rural municipality-4 of Syangja while covering the news related to drinking water on January 24. Ghimire claims that the local toll development committee physically assaulted him, verbally abused him, and used offensive language, despite showing them his press credentials. Ghimire's video equipment was also reportedly seized during the incident.
