Police have arrested 32-year-old Prakash Rai of Chandrapur municipality-6 in Rautahat on the charge of murder of his father during a domestic dispute. According to police, Prakash killed his father 55-year-old Nir Kumar by hitting him with a wooden stick on the night of February 2. Nir Kumar who sustained serious injuries on his head in the attack died while undergoing treatment at Chandrapur hospital. Police have started the investigation by holding the accused in custody.
