Students affiliated to Nepali Congress's student wing Nepal Student Union (NSU) padlocked Rara Multiple Campus and burned an effigy of Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh the vice-chairperson of Midwest University on March 16 protesting against the postponement of Free Students Election. The demonstrators alleged that the university postponed the date of the free student election with illegitimate decision.
