Madan Kumar Mahato a 32-year-old man of Bishnupur municipality-5 physically assaulted Surendra Kumar Yadav alias Munni and Chandeshwor Raut alias Chanda 50-year-old person who belonging to sexual minority group on September 10, 2022, in Kalyanpur municipality falsely accusing them of stealing children. According to the victims, since they were dressed as a woman Madan accused and assaulted them and later other locals also joined them and physically assaulted them.  Madan was arrested by the police. The victims sustained injury in the attack. The accused was released by the police on bail on order of the district court on September 29. The victims received financial help from Insec's Madhesh province office on March 16.
