A struggle committee of women's group staged a demonstration against Micro-finance institutes in Ganeman Chowk of Bardiya on March 24 demanding to scrap these institutes and cancel the collective loan with high interest charges issued by them. The demonstrators who had come from the village to participate in the protest program also staged a sit-in at the road.
