Kedar Prasad Yadav, a Saptari district Chairperson of the Janata Samajbadi Party was physically assaulted by a Police Inspector in Saptari. According to the memorandum published by the party, the accused verbally and physically assaulted Yadav brutally injuring him when he was in the police station to deal with a task of the general public. Due to the assault, the victim sustained injuries near his eyes and head.
According to DSP Singh, President Yadav assaulted police inspector Thapa after he used abusive language during the discussion. Earlier also, a police constable of the district police office, Saptari, was arrested after drinking alcohol and creating a ruckus on the street.
