Kathmandu/October 22 Hem Kumari Dhobi, 25, of Bhujai Gaon in Khaskarkando VDC-2, who was torched by her husband, has succumbed to the burn injuries on October 21. She was undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu after being torched by husband, Gaya Prasad Dhobi, 29, on October 12. She had 80 per cent burns in the body. Dhobi was brought to Kathmandu in the initiation of Women and Children Service Centre, INSEC, Maiti Nepal among others on October 13. Bir Hospital’s security guard Birendra Khanal informed that the body has been taken to TU Teaching Hospital for postmortem. District Police Office, Banke’s SSP Sekhar Koirala said that the police had arrested the acused husband and were investigation. Bib
