Manoj Poudel a ward chairperson of Khaddevi rural municipality-5 was physically assaulted and his motorcycle bearing the number plate of Province 3-02-001 was vandalized by the cadres of Nepali Congress in Ramechhap on May 11. There was a dispute about the location of the ward office building in that ward. After the construction of a building was started at Pakarbas, a place where the ward has its own land, the people of the Phulpa area protested alleging that constructing a building at that place would be harmful. But the land of the ward office is only in the same place and since the ward office has been providing services from the old building in the same place, the ward president Paudel says that they are going to build a concrete building in the same place.
