Nuwakot/October 30 Police have arrested Sunimaya Tamang, 35, and Manumaya Tamang, 31, of Betini VDC-5 on October 31 on charge of mistreating a neighbor accusing her of being a witch. The duo had shaved the head of Damba Tamang, 30, of Betini VDC-5 and verbally abused her accusing her of being a witch on October 26. Inspector Prakash Raj Sharma of District Police Office, Nuwakot said that the police were preparing to file charge-sheet under the Witchcraft Punishment Offence Act.
