Suntali Tamang, 20, of Kamalamai Municipality-6 has registered a divorce case against her husband Buddhi Prasad Waiwa, 24, at District Court on October 31 for assaulting, mistreating and expelling her from the house. The victim's father-in-law Aita Singh Waiwa and mother-in-law Jumri Maya Waiwa along with other family members were made defendants and the case for partition of the property has been registered by the victim, according to Dittha Thakur Prasad Adhikari of District Court of Sindhuli. The victim accused other family members of pressurizing her for divorce.
