Mahabir Sharma, 60, of Biratnagar sub-metropolis-21 and Sita Thapa, 31, of Darbesha VDC-3 has been arrested by police on November 17 on charge of human trafficking. They were arrested based on a complaint lodged by a 22-year-old woman at DPO on November 9. DSP Prabhu Prasad Dhakal of DPO said that the investigation inot the incident is underway and both the accused have been remanded for further investigation.
