Lahan Area Police Office has arrested Devnath Yadav, 40, of Phulkahakatti VDC-3 on December 10 on charge of issuing life threats to Sakshi Post daily’s editor Santosh Yadav, 28, and publisher Bijay Yadav, 37. The duo had filed a complaint at the APO on November 23 saying that a person had threatened them from the cell numbers 9815726121 and 9815701116 regarding a news item published. DSP Gyanedra Phunyal of the APO said that the police investigation led them to arrest the accused. He added that, on December 11, a case of public offence has been filed and extended his custody for investigation. D
