Jhapa, Samuhik balatkar prayash ka aropit thunama. Four persons have been remanded in custody on charge of trying to rape a 13-year-old girl. The district court Jhapa on December 24 ordered to remand a 17-year-old boy, Tilak Basnet, Manlal Magar, 23, Nishchal Rai, 19, and Sanil Rai, 19, for investigation while another 16-year-old boy has been handed over to his parents. Locals had rescued the girl while they were trying to gang-rape the girl on November 28. Medical check-up of the girl was conducted at Mechi Zonal Hospital Bhadrapur on November 29.
