FNJ condemns attacks directed at press

Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) has condemned the attacks directed the press during the bandh called by UCPN-M led 30-party Alliance, CPN-M and Padma Ratna Tuladhar-led Federation of Indigenous Nationalities on January 20. Issuing a press statement, FNJ chairperson Dr Mahendra Bishta condemned the vandalism on press vehicles, threats and misbehaviour against the journalists. Calling on the uninterrupted movement of the press, FNJ has asked the government to ensure that the vehicles of journalists, media houses and press run without any incident. Bibek Dhungana
