Ram Dayal Raut from Manara VDC-4, said VDC secretary Ram Tapeshwor Raut has not provided him the elderly allowance for 11 months. Septuagenarian Ram Dayal shared his plight with the journalists on Sunday. "I don´t know why the VDC Secretary is not giving me the allowance. Although I had taken the allowance once before long, he made me to give a signature showing my approval that I have taken the allowances of all these past months. So, I came in the district headquarters," poor elderly briefed the journalists. As he was about to inform the ill-treatment meted out to him to the media, VDC Secretary urged Ram Dayal not to complain at DDC and any other administrative body, as he was giving him the due allowance within few days. Moreover the elderly wailed before the media that when he reached the VDC Office, he was scolded and insulted by the Secretary and other technical staffs.When tried to garner the VDC Secretary´s views on it, he could not be contacted.
