Two arrested for attempted woman trafficking in Rasuwa

Police arrested two Indian nationals on February 5 on the charges of trying to traffic two teenage girls of Pajung village in Chilime VDC-9. District Police Office said that 38-year-old Chandra Kishor Raut Kurmi and 18-year-old Sanjit Kumar Sah of Motihari, India and running a textile shop in Dhunche were arrested while one abscounded. The girls have accepted that they were being taken to Indian with a promise of a good job and providing them gold, silver and clothes. They were intercepted by Tin Piple police station as they were heading for Kathmandu. Kosornam Dorje of Pajung in Chilime VDC-9 filed a complaint at District Police Office on February 6 seeking action against the duo.
