Nepal Press Union has called for action against the police officers who were involved in attacking the media persons while they were collecting news during the recent protests in Simara. In a statement issued by the Union on Monday, it has demanded an investigation into the incident and called for action against those who were involved in the attack. In the statement, the press union also informed that police had seized equipment belonging to the media persons.
