Child marriage convict arrested after five years in Ilam

The district police have arrested 26-year-old Rekha Gurung of Mabu VDC-9 who had been at large after being found guilty in child marriage case around five years ago by the district court. The district court had sentenced Gurung to one year in prison and fined him rupees six thousand in 2066 after finding him guilty of marrying a fifteen-year-old girl. According to Inspector Yama Bahadur Paudel Gurung has been sent to prison following his arrest on Falgun 11.
