UCPN-M Cadres Damage Foundation of House

Foundation of a house being constructed by Tapendra Khadka at Gulara of Chuha6 has been damaged by the Mohan Baidhya led hardline faction of the UCPN-M on November 25.

Saying that house could not be constructed in the seized land, a group led by Baidhya faction cadre Bhim Deuba had destroyed the foundation of the house, Khadka said.

Maoists had seized land belonging to one Krishna Bhandari in 2001 and Khadka had purchased two kattha of land from Bhandari at the cost of Rs 3, 00000 last year.

Though the UCPN-M did not protest during the time I purchased the land, they are obstructing to construct the house now, Khadka said.

UCPN-M district in-charge Hari Gyawali alias Akhanda said that party cadres prevented as Khadka has started constructing the house in the seized land.
