Kali Kami of Chandannath municipality-15 in Jumla has filed a cast based discrimination case against Ramchaya Rokaya, a local hotelier. In the case filed the victim stated that Ramachaya physically assaulted her and publicly insulted her. He pulled her hair and beat her calling her a Dalit and warned her not to come to his hotel. Inspector Prem Bahadur Khadka said that police have arrested the accused and are carrying out further investigation into the matter.
