Radio Deukhuri reporter Naresh KC, 29, of Raniyapur in Phulbari VDC-4 was injured in an attack by some unidentified men on April 4. Radio’s station manager informed that KC was assaulted as he was trying to interview with a group of people vandalizing vehicles on Ghorahi-Lamahi Road. KC added that two men identifying themselves as Tarun Dal activists attacked him. He sustained head injuries in the incident and is undergoing treatment at Rapti Sub-regional Hospital, Ghorahi. Police said that they were investigating the incident. FNJ Dang issued a statement condemning the attack against journalist KC.
