Police have arrested one Indian national involved in shooting a local businessman, Mahesh Kadamiya (Agrawal) on Sunday evening near Gahawa Mai Temple at Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan City. Kadamiya was injured in the shooting. Two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were also found from the incident site which Nepal Army personnel took under control. Police have confiscated a pistol and ten rounds of bullets from the arrested Indian national. They are currently investigating why the Birgunj-based businessman was shot.
