The bulldozer driver knocked down from the cliff by thugs in Pokhara

 A group of thugs working for local contractors have thrown a bulldozer driver to death from a cliff in Bharat Pokhari of Lekhnath municipality in Kaski. The bulldozer driver identified as 22-year-old Suraj Chaudhary from Motipur in Rupandehi was first beaten by the thugs and then the wounded driver was thrown from the cliff. He died on the way while being taken for treatment in Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara. Witnesses informed that the thugs started beating the driver asking him who gave him permission to dig the road. According to DSP Hari Bahadur Pal, head of Kaski district police, the killers have been identified and police are searching for them. Local thug Deepak Malla who was arrested on many occasions in the past was identified as the main perpetrator. Police are looking for the four accused in the incident including Deepak Malla. A different group of thugs working for construction entrepreneurs is actively operating in Pokhara.
