Man arrested on charge of trafficking attempt

Police have arrested Birendra Baitha, 28, of Gaurishankar VDC-2, Sarlahi on July 11 on the charge of trying to take a 30-year-old woman to India from Samsi custom post in Mahottari. District Police Office, Mahottari informed that Baitha was arrested in Samsi VDC-4 when he was taking the woman to India in the pretext of marrying her. DSP Lokendra Shrestha said that both were held in custody for investigation adding guardians of the both were informed about the arrest.
