Four injured along with a policeman in clash between Nepali and Indian citizens near the border in Parsa

A day-long clash occurred between local Indian and Nepalese citizens on a dispute over water at the border near Thori of Parsa. Indian citizens attacked Nepaleses crossing the border due to a dispute over an irrigation channel at Thute khola. The channel is situated between the Indian and Nepal border.          3 locals and a police constable were injured in the attack. The injured are area police office Thori, Constable Nanda Lal Mahato, Narayan Prasadh Pathak, Chandra Bahadur Mijar, and Tilak Bahadur Basnet. The police constable was seriously injured and had to be sent to the hospital for the treatment. According to a local named Ram Sharan Lamichhane, the Indian citizens were attacking villagers with stones in a confrontation that lasted till the evening.
