A woman struck her husband to death with an axe in the Rukum district on Tuesday night. According to the District Police Office, Rukum, Gauri Badi of Kotjahari-4 hacked her husband Buddhi Badi to death while he was sleeping at home last night. The Area Police Office, Chaurjhari arrested Gauri Badi immediately after the incident. She admitted to killing her husband, DSP Govinda Thapaliya told Republica by telephone. Police said there was a dispute between the husband and wife even though the exact reason behind the dispute is yet to be known. The body was taken to Jajarkot District Hospital for post-mortem. Gauri Badi has two sons and one daughter.
