Cadres of Samyukta Madhesi Mukti Morcha have attacked MM Plastic Factory in Malaya road of Biratnagar sub-metropolis-18 on September 10. Security guard Umesh Biswakarma has sustained an injury to his head in the incident. Around 200 protestors had attacked the factory. Police which reached the site immediately after the incident dispersed the protestors. According to DSP Pramod Kharel, Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Jagadish Sah, 48, of Biratnagar sub-metropolis-19 has been arrested in connection with the incident. Meanwhile, the Morcha claimed that police arrested two protestors. Meanwhile, police said that a clash also occurred when police tried to remove protestors who were obstructing road at Roadshesh chok in Biratnagar sub-metropolis-17. Central Member of Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Jayram Yadav said that police fired in the air and hurled tear gas shells to terrorize the protestors. He accused police of suppressing peaceful protests.
