A 2-year-old minor boy has been beaten to death by his own father in the capital. Haridhan Rai of Khotang, currently residing in Kathmandu has beaten his 2-year-old son to death while his wife was not at home on Saturday. After coming back from work, Rai's wife found her son unconscious and rushed him to the hospital. The minor died while he was undergoing treatment at Bir-Hospital on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the perpetrator Rai from Maharajgunj on Saturday. He had gone on the run after admitting the minor in Hospital. According to police, the accused had been torturing both his wife and the deceased minor on many occasions in the past.
