Constituent Assembly member and central member of MJF-Loktantrik Mohammad Mustaq Alam has warned to take physical action against those celebrating the promulgation of the new constitution. Speaking at the assembly organized to pay tribute to Raj Kishor Thakur in Mahuliya of Mathia VDC-6 on September 18, Alam issued the warning. He said that action would be taken for celebrating the constitution which is being promulgated with support from army and police and at a time when the incumbent government has killed more than four dozen Madhesi people. Alam claimed that the constitution would not be acceptable to Madhesi people and it would only last for three months. Thakur, 20, was killed when police opened fire at protestors while they were defied the riot-hit zone imposed by the local administration on August 25.
