Cadres of the Madhesi Front have assaulted journalists in Bara on Monday. According to the Press Union, Ujyalo 90 network reporter Jay Narayan Yadav who is member of Nepal Press Union Bara and secretary of Nepal Journalist Federation along with Shiva Shankar Mishra of Gorkhapatra daily and Bhaiya Ram Shah, Treasurer of Nepal Journalist Federation and Bara reporter for Avenues Television, were assaulted by protesters while they were gathering news about vandalism and arson in CA member and District Chairperson of Nepali Congress, Radhechandra Yadav's house. Similarly, the protesters also destroyed the camera carried by Gorkhapatra Daily's reporter Mishra. Condemning the attack against the journalists, Press Union has demanded action against those involved in the incident.
