Transport entrepreneurs and staffers associated with the field have defied band called by Limbuwan Joint Struggle Committee (LJSC) in Daran on Wednesday. Objecting to the prolonged banda, the entrepreneurs and workers announced that the banda has been lifted by bringing a bus at Bhanuchowk Buspark. The LJSC has been enforcing indefinite banda since September 20 in protest of the promulgation of the new constitution. Despite talks between FNCCI, Sunsari and banda enforcers yesterday, the LJSC announced an indefinite banda issuing a press release later in the evening, the entrepreneurs have upped in arms since this morning. The local administration has stationed security personnel to prevent any untoward incident in the Bhanuchowk area. The LJSC has long been staging bands and strikes demanding autonomous Limbuwan Stage comprising nine districts to the east of Arun-Koshi River.
