Armed group robs 3 passenger buses in Salyan

 An armed group has looted three passenger buses in the Salyan district on Friday. According to District Police Office, Salyan an unidentified gang wielding pistols robbed three passenger buses of Rs 1.2 million, gold ornaments, and 100 sets of mobile at Suikot Barula of the district. The incident took place at 3 am today while the buses, Na 4 Kha 597, Na 4 Kha 6383, and Na 4 Kha 1317, were heading to Chaurjhari of Rukum from Nepalgunj. The buses were ferrying Nepali migrants who were returning home from India to celebrate the Dashain festival. Police said the looters were armed with domestic weapons including Khukuri and pistols. One passenger has been injured in the retaliation against the robbers. The injured is Sumlal Gharti of Rukum. Gharti has been referred to Chaurjhari Mission Hospital after preliminary treatment at Neta Bazaar. Police are launching a manhunt to nab the bus looters.
