UDMF cadres continue relay hunger strike at Indo-Nepal border point

The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) cadres have continued their round-the-clock relay hunger strike at Bairganiya Indo-Nepal border point, near Gaur, headquarters of Rutahat district. The UDMF has been staging the relay hunger strike for the past two months, putting forth various demands to the government, at the bridge located at Nepal- India border point. According to Babulal Shah, District Chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, senior citizens of Jhunkuwa and Belbichiwa of Laxmipur VDC supported the demonstration by participating in the sit-in on Friday. Likewise, the local people have given continuity to the round-the-clock relay hunger strike at Man Mohan Dwar, Auraiya VDC of the district too.
