Cadres of SLMM have torched an ambulance and a motorcycle on the East-West highway in Bhardaha on Sunday. According to eyewitnesses the SLMM cadres torched the vehicles by sprinkling fuel drawn from the ambulance's fuel tank. The plate number of the ambulance has not yet been identified. The ambulance carrying patient was heading towards Kathmandu from Biratnagar. Meanwhile, SLMM cadres have also confiscated and spilled away petroleum products being ferried on a motorcycle in Portaha and Koshi barrage of Saptari.
