Police on Saturday arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in vandalism in two places of Kathmandu. 35-year-old Sandip Khatri and 38-year-old Roshan Khadka from Tikusi, Balkhu were arrested for vandalising window glasses of a building in Kirtipur Municipality-3. They were angry for not getting petrol at a fuel station, police said.
Meanwhile, one 55-year-old Bhuwan Bahadur Shahi from Birendranagar-5 of Surkhet was arrested for pelting stones at a police van in Jaya Bageshwori, KMC-8. Currently residing in Chabahil, KMC-7, Shahi had pelted stones after the van with bearing number plate Ba 1 Jha 7421 was returning to its station from the Jaya Bageshwor-based Pushpanjali Oil Store. The windscreen of the van was broken in the incident, police said. Further investigation is underway.
