An unidentified group of men have attacked Kavre district correspondent of Naya Patrika daily, Raj Kumar Gole on Tuesday night at Banepa. He was attacked with khukuri on the head by the group, but he dodged and the khukuri attack fell on his left hand instead, severely injuring him. He was sent home after receiving 8 stitches at the hospital. The Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ)and Federation of Indigenous Journalists have condemned the attack on Gole and have demanded action against those involved in the incident. नयाँ पत्रिका दैनिकका काभ्रे संवाददाता राजकुमार गोलेमाथि अज्ञात समूहले सांघातिक आक्रमण गरेको छ । आक्रमणबाट गोलेको देब्रे हातमा गहिरो चोट लागेको छ । गोलेलाई हतियारधारी अज्ञात समूहले मंगलबार राति बनेपामा आक्रमण गरेको थियो । उपचारपछि गोले घर फर्किएका छन् । दैनिक कार्यपछि निवास फर्कने क्रममा बनेपा–२ स्थित आजाद उच्चमाविनजिकै अपरिचित व्यक्तिहरूको समूहले टाउकोमा प्रहार गरेको खुकुरी छल्दा पत्रकार गोलेको बायाँ हातमा चोट लागेको हो । उनको हातमा आठ टाँका लगाइएको छ । घटनाको नेपाल पत्रकार महासंघ तथा नेपाल आदिवासी जनजाति पत्रकार महासंघले भत्र्सना गरेको छ । पत्रकार गोलेमाथिको सांघातिक आक्रमण सिंगो प्रेस जगत् र स्वतन्त्र पत्रकारितामाथि गरिएको आक्रमण भएको महासंघले जनाएको छ ।
