A woman has been arrested in accusation of killing stepdaughter by feeding poison. 30-year-old Dambara Pant of Bedkot municipality-3, Shantipur was arrested. According to the police, she had fed poison to 8-year-old Laxmi Panta. Police found the body of the girl about a kilometre away from her home, in the bank of Chaudhary river is the partially buried state. Dambara was arrested for further investigation while she was trying to bury the body with the help of relatives. According to the neighbours, the father of the girl is in India for employment.
