Demonstration in Kailali demanding arrest of their classmate's killer

Students of Chaumala, Kailali enforced vehicular obstruction for 2 hours in the East-West highway on Sunday demanding the arrest of their classmate's killer. The body of 9-year-old Tilak Joshi, a student of Mohanyaal Bidhyamandir of Chaumala VDC was found buried in peat after the gruesome murder on 13 December. Students, political leaders, locals, and relatives of the deceased protested claiming that police have not taken any initiative to find the killer even after 35 days past the incident. Relatives of the boy claimed that some men were arrested after his murder but they were set free after a brief interrogation. The search for Tilak Raj, son of a local businessman, Janak Raj Joshi, began after the boy who went to play with his friends did not return by evening.
