Sanch Tamang, 38, of Talamarang2 has been arrested on August 27 by Area Police Office, Melamchi on charge of raping a teacher of Dhauleshwori Lower Secondary school in Thakani2.

According to the victim's father, she was raped in the street while going to the school. The victim has reported the incident to the area police office on August 27. The accused was arrested following her complaint. The investigation is underway, according to Inspector Lokhari Khanal of the area police office, Melamchi.<
