A government employee at Surkhet DDC (District Development Committee) allegedly assaulted a junior officer for for not providing him with petrol. Ram Bahadur Budha - planning officer at Surkhet DDC assaulted junior officer Nabin Kumar KC at his own office on Friday. According to Nabin Kumar, Ram Bahadur called him to his office and asked him whether he had furnished the requested 5 liters of petrol for Ram Bahadur. When Nabin Kumar replied that he could not provide petrol for someone's private purpose, Ram Bahadur suddenly punched Nabin Kumar on his nose and the head, and his nose started bleeding. According to the employees at DDC Surkhet, planning Officer Ram Bahadur also attacked another employee of DDC Dirgharaj Pokhrel at office in the past. Nabin Kumar has lodged a complaint at the district police office seeking strong action against Ram Bahadur.
