UCPN Maoist leader Biswonath Shah is attacked by an unidentified group at Aranga village while he was returning from the house of UCPN Maoist Central committee member Fulgen Nayak. According to Biswonath Shah, Nepali Congress MP Ganesh Mandal had attacked at the house of Fulgen Nayak on February 15. Fulgen was also injured during the incident. Biswonath had gone to Fulgen's house to take note of Fulgen's condition. Biswonath has slightly injured and window panes of his vehicle are broken. According to Shah, he was attacked by a group of around 50-60 masked men, he could, however, identify some men including Khusilala Thakur, Dhanbir Yadav, and Prabhat Singh.
