A 23-year-old youth sustained injuries in an attack with a sharp weapon by his neighbours in Dadhikot of Bhaktapur on Thursday. Aayush Tamang was attacked by his neighbours Sanubabu Tamang and Rajesh Shrestha in Dadhikot, Anantalingeshwor-10 following an altercation over drinking water supply, police said. The duo had hit the victim’s head with the weapon, leaving him seriously injured. He was admitted at the Bhaktapur Hospital, which later referred the case to the Bir Hospital, police said. The attackers are on the run since the incident and police have launched a manhunt. Further investigation is underway.
