The District Court Makawanpur has sent a man to jail for 14 years on charge of raping a disabled girl.

The single bench of Tek Narayan Kunwar, on September 24, convicted Sovit Lamsal, 30, of Hetauda N.P.9 on charge of raping a 12-year-old disabled girl.

Lamsal was given eight years for rape, five years for raping a disabled and one year for sodomizing her.

Lamsal, originally from Tanahun, had raped the girl on January 5 when she was alone at home.
