Parsa/ October 10  It has been learnt that the irregularities have taken place at the special education program being conducted in the Nepal Rastriya Secondary School of Bhikhampur VDC.

Principal of the school Durga Nanda Lal Das has been misappropriating the scholarship amount of students by giving wrong information that seven hearing impaired children were studying in the school. Only three such students are admitted in the school.

However, Das claimed that tow such students had taken ill.

School Inspector Sabnam Shrivastav and Resource teacher Raj Kishor Prasad from the district education office had found about the misappropriation on October 10 during their monitoring.

Shivastav said that the issue would be solved after holding discussion with the school management committee and school administration.

The Nepal government provides scholarship amount of Rs 1,700 as food and miscellaneous cost to keep students with disabilities in hostels for their education.
