Budhathoki is based at the APF Base Camp at Katlekhola in Manahari.

The girl’s family complained to the District Police Office on October 18 accusing Budathoki of taking the girl to a nearby jungle and then raping her.

Currently, the girl has been kept in the police cell while the accused has been kept at APF Base Camp on the condition of handing him over to Nepal Police whenever asked. Police said Budathoki would be detained once the girl’s family files a written complaint.
