Police from Saptari have arrested 50-year-old Yaswant Singh from Saptari Sewa Ashram of Rajbiraj Municipality-4 on June 18 on the charge of raping a 32-years-old woman and attempting to traffic her in India. A team from District Police Office of Saptari have arrested the accused from his house where he was hiding according to DSP Dan Bahadur Karki of DPO. The victim was able to flee from India on 2015, March 6 where she was being trafficked by the accused. She had lodged a complaint at District Police Office of Saptari on 2015, March 9 and further lodged a complaint at appellate court in Rajbiraj on March 12 for the ordinance after the complaint was not registered at the police office.
